The workshop was extremely enlightening. We all have clear take aways on how to implement the Nordic Ways in our schools. We must work more with relationship building and forming an even stronger community between teachers, students and parents.

The gentlemen from Nordic Schools have made us reflect upon what we do well as school leaders and teachers in our schools. And they have provided us with inspiration on how to work a lot more with social and emotional learning. On top of that they are really entertaining.

The key selling point for me from a school leader's point of view was the chance to look at a different approach to education and use what I saw to help me reflect on what we do in the UK. Your workshop really helped with this especially by going through the various levels (Environment, behaviour, beliefs, etc.) For me your Nordic Model was a fantastic tool in reviewing current practice and this is something I want to explore further with my team.

“Last week I had the great pleasure to meet Casper Rongsted in Bucharest, at the Fischer International Conference. I, my colleagues and the participants were instantly captivated by his charisma, his knowledge, his presence and ability to connect with people in the room on an emotional level. Apart from the valuable information he shared with the audience, his presentation was engaging, inspiring and motivating. He was warm, funny and he spoke with a lot of enthusiasm, passion and confidence. His presentation was memorable and we are really happy that we had the opportunity to meet such a delightful person. We hope that we will have Casper and his team at our future events.”
Clara Trasca
With ease, humour and challenge Casper met the all our learning objectives. During the whole session there was an active buzz in the room as colleagues were challenged to think about why they came into teaching, what their core beliefs were and getting back to them. The presentation was well balanced between evidence, slide presentation and group discussion. I personally took away from the presentation, my teaching compass rebalanced and supported with evidence and the confidence to say relationships and being ready to learn are key to teaching and caring for the pupils in our schools.

Could you please summarize in two or three sentences what the Nordic Schools is all about?
We show why Scandinavian schools have such well documented success in creating happy, intelligent and autonomous school children that value community and relationships. We invite the listeners to understand why social and emotional learning is one of the keys to why we score well in international tests such as Pirls, Timss, ICCS and ICILS.
How did you come up with the idea for this keynote?
School staff all over the world are curious people. They want to learn more about other nations’ school systems. We thought it was about time that the vikings returned to foreign countries – this time with a pencil in hand!
What does your audience gain from your keynote presentation?
Inspiration from the latest science on learning combined with practical tools for everyday school life.
Do you have a favourite experience from your common speaking career?
We know that we have done well, when teachers come up to us after our keynote and say: ”That really gave me back my love of teaching” or ”You have made me realize how proud I am to be a teacher!”
