Eltobgy is a coach-sultant and global speaker on happiness and authenticity in the workplace as a path to strengthen leaders, improve engagement & customer experience, change business, and transform lives. With a focus on the 4 “Cs” of “Connect. Collaborate. Communicate. Create”, she unleashes human potential to bring higher resonance and freedom of self into companies and in the world. She’s a lifelong development diva passionate about cultivating others to live, work and play with enthusiasm.
With an MBA in International Business, diverse consulting experience, and training in-coaching, transpersonal development, leadership, and conscious communication- Shereen brings an approach that is global, humanistic, and rooted in awareness. She started this path of passion & purpose as Regional VP for a global human performance development firm before launching her own practice and then co-building DH. Before unleashing human potential, she was a software sales & business executive with over 15 years of technology space. Shereen is a lead coach and senior consultant with Delivering Happiness, LLC, focused on cultivating sustainable culture change and transformative employee engagement that reinvents the work experience.
Her clients range from a 50 person hi-tech startup looking to boost innovation to a – A 2,000 strong retail organization creating a culture where employees and customers, and a Flourish Healthcare organization with up to 60,000 employees creating a high-empathy patient experience. She has also worked with organizations and spoken at events in the USA, Middle East, and Europe/Eastern Europe. Raised internationally, residing in the U.S., and educated in both, she considers herself a world student and thus draws on global philosophies. How do you prepare for speaking engagements?
I read about the client’s passion, purpose and values so that I can speak to their hearts and minds. I look for ways to relate our speaker topics to their world and what matters to them (WIFM)!
What do you gain personally from being a public speaker?
I find great joy and inspiration in inspiring others and in planting seeds that may serve them in their path. We will never know the impact we can have on someone’s journey. Speaking feels to me like another avenue for allowing energy and creative ideas to move and infuse people with what they need for their journey.
Why do you think Scandinavian countries are ranked so high on happiness rankings?
Because they prioritize the individual, wealth is distributed, education is honored, safety is high and people do not have to worry about their basic needs (think Maslow’s Hierarchy). They are freed up to pursue the top half of Maslow’s pyramid – Happiness, Purpose, Self-Realization, etc.
Why is happiness an important value for companies?
Everything is energy. When people are in a place of high energetic resonance, they are at their best. You can call it happiness, love, peace, harmony etc. It’s the ultimate alignment within yourself where you can do and BE your best.
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Barcelona!!! But I will need to learn Spanish to do that.
