As a facilitator and speaker, Amy has worked with Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Adobe, Cisco, Dell, Genentech, Google, Hewlett Packard, Mastercard, McKinsey, Microsoft, PayPal, Time Warner and many more. Her 25 years of consulting and development experience gives her a pragmatic approach and real-world experience on how companies work successfully through the challenges of innovation, change, and communication.
Amy curates the latest research in applied neuroscience and puts it into context for the busy working professional. She shares practical tips and techniques for people to experiment with to
reduce stress, improve mental health, increase motivation, adopt new technologies, work collaboratively, innovate faster, and change behaviors.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in English and Writing from Purdue University, Amy spent 3 years as an educator before shifting into public sector management consulting. She earned her M.B.A. while living and working in the Kingdom of Bahrain, giving her a unique global perspective. After a decade of consulting, she pursued her Executive Masters in Applied Neuroscience and Leadership, which brought a scientific lens into her work with individual, team, and organizational performance. Outside of work, Amy loves to go on adventures, often with a paraglider, having visited over 80 countries and climbed mountains on all continents.
Combining the fields of science, business, and adventure, Amy consolidated her years of lessons and observations into her first book, Wild Success: 7 Key Lessons Business Leaders Can Learn from Extreme Adventurers. Her writing also been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Investors Business Daily, and Thrive Global.
