In 2018 Polar Explorer Felicity Aston, transformed a disparate group of 10 women from across Europe and the Middle East into a unified high performance team capable of skiing to the North Pole – despite many of the members having no previous cold-weather or expedition experience.
The journey involved traversing the constantly shifting sea ice of the frozen Arctic Ocean, a high-stakes environment that demands adaptive leadership, resilient risk management and efficient decision-making.
