See keynotes with Pascal BornetThe Industrial Revolutions started over 200 years ago, automating “blue-collar” work in the agricultural and manufacturing industries. They provided massive and structural benefits to our society, such as the reduction of famine and an increase in standards of living, and they relieved people from laborious manual work.
IA, also called Hyperautomation, is one of the most recent trends in the broad field of artificial intelligence. It has been ranked #1 most important technology trend of 2021 by the famous research company Gartner. IA is a cutting-edge combination of methods and technologies, involving people, organizations, machine learning, low-code platforms, robotic process automation (RPA), and more.
Officially coined in 2017 by IEEE, Intelligent Automation (IA) ushers in a new revolution: that of office work, automating “white-collar” work. Today, office work accounts for more than 80% of the job roles in our global economy, such as lawyers, financial controllers, or call center operators. Consistently with the previous automation revolutions, I believe IA will have a significant impact not only on employment but more broadly on our society.
The main questions Bornet will answer during this interactive presentation are:
Bornet perform this presentation with a co-presenter called Anna. Anna is a digital person. She was built using machine learning, and he has configured her to support me with this presentation. Anna and Bornet interact together throughout the presentation, creating a unique experience while demonstrating the capabilities of these new technologies.
According to Harvard Business Review, “a company’s value is the sum of the decisions it makes and executes”. Unfortunately, challenges with decisions have increased in the last decades. According to Gartner, 65% of executives think the decisions they make are more complex than two years ago.
On the one hand, according to McKinsey, an S&P 500 company currently loses an average of $250M per year on ineffective decision-making processes. On the other hand, according to Signal, companies could unleash $4.26 trillion per year by leveraging technology to support their decisions.
Decision intelligence is a new field that helps support, augment and automate business decisions by linking data with decisions and outcomes. It uses a combination of methods (e.g., decision mapping and decision theories) and technologies (e.g., machine learning and automation) to improve the way decisions are made in companies. Gartner identified decision intelligence as one of the most impactful tech trends for 2022.
In this keynote, Bornet will answer the following questions:
This presentation is very interactive. It includes games and tests that the audience goes through, making people face their own cognitive limits.
According to Gallup, 85% of employees worldwide do not flourish at work. According to a recent report, “Over 40% of workers surveyed spend at least a quarter of their workweek on manual, repetitive tasks, with email, data collection, and data entry occupying the most time.” In addition, only a third of workers currently have access to appropriate collaboration tools or AI applications.
For the past 10 years, companies have focused on the customer experience. It is time to take a look at the “employee experience.” According to an article published in the Harvard Business Review, companies that lead initiatives to improve the employee experience are four times more profitable than those that don’t. AI offers us a unique opportunity to enhance this experience.
In this presentation, Bornet will discuss how we can solve these challenges using artificial intelligence (AI)? The talk is articulated around five main levers available to world leaders to build the future of work with AI. This framework is called the “fivefold-A artifact”. It includes: Analysis, Augmentation, Automation, Abandonment, and Anchoring.
He explains the benefits and critical success factors in implementing this new approach while providing engaging stories and interactive videos.
Pascal’s keynote on Artificial Intelligence and people, was very inspiring. The feedback from the audience was amazing.
