Based on research with hundreds of individuals who have had a serious hardship and difficult situation, I discovered that people are much more than just resilient. Many individuals who had a serious hardship would bounce back higher than before. They transcended because of their hardship to find their purpose as an everyday occurrence. They made purpose a verb in their life and as a result, they discovered their flow and were extremely productive and happy. Purpose became their ultimate fuel of life!
Purpose can supercharge the growth of your company. This keynote will discuss how leaders, sales staff, and administrators can make purpose a verb so that you can add purpose to your everyday. More specifically, this keynote will show you how to make purpose a habit.
Dr. Gregg has developed an emotional mastery system comprised of 3 essential steps to help you make purpose a verb and take action:
• Step 1: Become Emotionally Aware of your purpose-driven state (A time you were very inspired). Everyone is unique and so are your emotions associated with your best state. You must become emotionally aware before you can control your emotions.
• Step 2: Create Notes to your purpose-driven state. Participants will learn how to individualize this state by creating images, words, and actions centered around this state.
• Step 3: Play their purpose-driven state on a Daily Routine. To push your emotions in the right direction, attendees will learn how to develop daily routines that promote their best state, time and time again. In that way, you will make purpose a verb when life gets difficult.
Key take-aways for your audience when they gain purpose as a verb include:
Need grit, great energy, and inner peace? The secret to finding great energy every day, calmness in the chaotic storm, and confidence in the most difficult times will require you to have Purpose Driven Toughness.
Mental and emotional toughness are only part of the story and can only get you half way to your mountain top. To fulfill your destiny, you must be filled with purpose.
Purpose is the master emotion and it leads to all the key emotions that you need to be successful and happy. Most people do not think of purpose as an emotion, but it is as we say, “I have a sense of purpose, and I feel purposeful”. In my research, I discovered that people who are filled with purpose are inspired everyday, possess super-resiliency to overcome obstacles, and demonstrate the highest level of inner peace.
In this entertaining and informative keynote, I will not only tell enlightening stories of individuals who have purpose driven toughness (such as Terry Fox who walked a marathon each day across Canada with an artificial leg in order to raise money for cancer research which he called the Marathon of Hope), but I will also share key strategies to develop Purpose Driven Toughness. These strategies have been developed based upon my 30 years working with professional athletes as well as business professionals.
Key take-aways for your audience:
Do you want your staff to be more resilient and to overcome obstacles more effectively? Do you want a work atmosphere that is more engaging and inviting? Then you need to create an optimistic culture
It is easy for staff and employees to get negative and pessimistic at their job. However, social scientists have discovered that employees who are optimistic are happier, and have a much higher level of productivity, and most importantly, are healthier and live longer.
But creating optimistic employees is not just about positive thinking and positive self-talkor unbridled confidence. Rather psychologists have discovered that the main difference is your attributional style. That is, how you explain events determines if you are optimistic or pessimistic.
In this seminar, Dr. Gregg Steinberg will show you how to be more optimistic as well as how to coach others to be more optimistic using scientifically-based TUF strategy system.
TUF stands for Temporary, Unique and Flexible. When individuals explain failure with those terms, they believe success is around the corner, and as a result, are more motivated, have greater persistence, and less anxiety.
The good news is that optimism is a learned behavior which anyone can acquire with the right tools!
As a result of this seminar individuals will:
1) Be able to quickly recognize optimistic vs pessimistic dialogue and thinking.
2) Create an optimistic culture at the workplace.
3) Empower their staff by showing them how to think more optimistically.
Based on research with hundreds of individuals who have had a serious hardship and difficult situation, I discovered that some people who transcended their hardships found their lifesong-their life purpose. They have what I call “Transcend-ability”: They turned purpose into a verb and live in purpose on as a daily occurrence. As a result, they have great energy, motivation, and were extremely productive and happy. Purpose is their ultimate fuel of life!
