Jens Voigt is an accomplished road bicycling racer who participated in professional races throughout the globe during his career. He offers audiences insights into the world of professional bicycling and strategies for winning in competitive work environments. He’s recognized for his aggressive riding style.
From a young age, Voigt was noted for exuding energy and endurance. These traits helped him to perform well in high-level competitions. After joining a national school to train, Voigt began his career by winning the 1994 Peace Race. He later joined the German Army and participated in a special squad dedicated to sports. He began cycling professionally by 1997.
In 1998, Voigt made a name for himself and his aggressive racing after joining the GAN team of France. During a five-year period, he won 20 races and solidified his place as a premier road racing competitor. Recognizing himself as a person who acts as opposed to reacting, he began attacking bike courses across the globe winning numerous awards and accolades during his career. He translates his biking experience into entertaining keynote addresses offering strategies for winning in competitive environments.
After retiring from the sport, Voigt joined NBC sports as a commentator. He’s also served as an ambassador for the Tour of California. He lives in Berlin with his wife and six children.
