James runs a design studio famed for producing memorable work. Before opening the studio, James taught at the New York City School of Visual Arts for about two decades. Here, he inspired and nurtured thousands of students from different spheres of creativity.
Thanks to his cutting-edge TV animation designs, James won an Emmy, a sought-after award in the television industry. Also to his name are silver and gold medals from the NY Art Director’s Club. Some of his design clients include The City of New York, The New York Times, Wired Magazine, Aveda, MailChimp, and Adobe.
James’ work has been featured twice at the Museum of Modern Art’s exhibitions. That’s a huge feat to achieve, given that many top artists don’t make the cut to be exhibited at this New York high-profile event. Unsurprisingly, Victore’s work is also part of the Library of Congress’ permanent collections. But it is not just the US museums that contain his work. Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum, Zurich’s Design Museum, and the Paris’ Palais du Louvre Museum also feature his artwork in their permanent collections.
As an author, James is well-published. His book, Feck Perfuction, was released in 2019 and has since transformed millions of lives. And rumor has it that more are on the way.

A talk on the power of having an opinion. When you begin to see your work as a gift, it changes how you think about your work. It changes why you work, what you make, and even who you work for. When your work is a gift, your goal is no longer to satisfy a boss or client—or even to gain a paycheck. You now work to make yourself happy—and in turn speak directly to your audience. Because you now give them something of value: a piece of yourself. You now have the answer to the question so many creatives dread answering, “What do I have to say?”
We are all born wildly creative. Some of us just forgot. James walks the audience through the creative process and how we all have the ability to not only make ourselves happy and be paid to do what we love—but change the world as well.
