; he has taught at universities worldwide and currently holds a position as professor of Innovation, Design, and Management at the University of Southern Denmark. Alf has a Phd in industrial management and in 2004 he was appointed chair of organization and management at Åbo Akademi University, which made him the youngest chair in Finland at the time.
