A critical part of being a leader, an athlete and an entrepreneur is having the ability to fire yourself and your team up. Amobi not only understands that, but he lives and breathes it. It is his story and the way he approaches each challenge that made him such an amazing guest speaker at Initiative, a global media agency. He delivered an uplifting and powerful masterclass on motivation and confidence for 65 young marketers. He shared his top mantras for staying energized, both on and off the field. What made his talk special was the level of engagement that he drew from the audience. He got the whole audience talking and sharing their stories. Each walked away with a renewed level of confidence in themselves.

Amobi is second to none when it comes to programming and delivering financial education for athletes. Whether it’s for established professionals or freshmen managing their NIL dollars, the way he breaks down complex concepts and provides actionable steps is outstanding. His approach is always dynamic, relatable and impactful.

You did a fantastic job and I was impressed from our initial conversation. It was clear from the start you were passionate about financial literacy, speaking with youth and giving back. In addition, your professionalism is impeccable. You took the speaking engagement seriously and sought to ensure you met expectations on the topic at hand. Your style of presenting using more pictures than words on a slide, known as Pecha Kucha, accomplished exactly what it seeks too. That is to captivate the audience, your presentation did exactly that. Your relatable examples and sharing of personal stories was impactful to the audience. Being a young, successful, purpose drive, African American male allowed our youth both male and female, to see something different than what the world chooses to highlight I am so thankful you accepted our call and booked our engagement. You were most certainly, one of the highlights of the Teen Summit event. Do not for any reason, lose sight of your goals and the power you possess.
