Chris’ response in the aftermath of his mother being murdered while he was in college led him to be drafted by the Chicago Cubs and now being one of the most booked professional speakers under the age of 30.
After the horrible racially motivated mass murders in Charleston, South Carolina many know that some members of Mother Emanuel AME Church forgave the killer for his hanis act. Chris Singleton was the first person to forgive the killer uttering the words, “Love is Stronger Than Hate”. Following his words thousands came together to wrap their arms around one another and grieve in unity.
Chris was raised in the church and shares his testimony of how faith and forgiveness led him into a relationship with God and how even in the midst of his darkest moments, his faith reassured him that the storm would eventually pass. As a board member for the Charleston Fellowship of Christian Athletes, he shares his faith on Sunday mornings to churches, christian schools and universities around 20 times a year.
