Now more than ever college athletes are able to succeed as business professionals even before graduating due to monetizing their name, image and likeness. Though this area is relatively new college athletes must be properly informed so that they make the best decisions possible in order to do things the right way. Clearly, your goal is not to only prepare your student athletes for opportunities in professional sports, but also position them to benefit from all the opportunities afforded them even at this stage in their lives. Let me take a moment to introduce you to a program that will transform the lives of the young men of your high school. Tied To Greatness uses the power of positive male role models, the influence of fashion, and the symbolism of the necktie as a point of manhood and maturity to remind young men about the importance of personal image and to encourage each participant to make different choices about their future. The image and character of our young men is being challenged and this program gives a cutting-edge approach to counteract the nonchalant image that is plaguing our culture. This all-male assembly educates young men on the importance of image internally and externally, our quorum of community men presents the students with ties, affirms their greatness, and then gives them a lesson on how to tie the tie. The young men then get to keep the ties for future special events.
