An expert in the field of human performance and wellbeing, Iya has dedicated her life to the discovery and training of eclectic practices from around the world. With a background in martial arts, Iya delved into the world of acupressure and acupuncture under the tutelage of a remarkable South Korean teacher.
With a keen interest in the challenges faced by astronauts during space exploration, Iya sought out experts in the space domain and acquired skills in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Engineering. Iya’s work at the European Astronaut Centre, along with studies conducted for the UK Space Agency and European Space Agency, resulted in the invention of new techniques and technology to prevent, and overcome psychological and social challenges faced by astronauts during long-duration missions.
Boasting over 25 years of experience working with families and high achievers, Iya has acquired knowledge and qualifications from experts in therapy for the body, mind, and spirit, in various countries such as Latvia, UAE, Cyprus, Australia, Nepal, the UK, South and North America.
