After successfully founding and leading Music Dealers, Eric has grown the company and forged numerous partnerships and deals - including a groundbreaking partnership with Coca-Cola which lead to the company taking a minority stake in the business. Eric has had such an impact on the industry that he’s been recognized by Billboard as a rising young executive and has also received awards such as “Music Man of the 21st Century” and was also included in the “Crains Tech 50” list in 2012.
Eric has built an extensive expertise in his field, which brought him the opportunity to co-author the book “Hit Brands: How Music Builds Value for the Worlds Smartest Brands” - providing an essential guide to marketing industry professionals in how to maximize consumer engagement through the power of music.
Sheinkop has gone on to create The Desire Company, a new tech-based marketing solution which aims to further disrupt the industry by giving consumers access to expert advice that will allow them to learn new skills and make better-informed purchasing decisions. Through this venture Eric has combined how-to videos, expert product reviews and classes to allow consumers make improved decisions before they commit to purchasing a product, whilst also enabling brands to introduce new products to customers.
