Erika Shepard is a board-certified Holistic Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about elevating the mental and physical well-being of leaders, organizations, and their people. Erika has the unique perspective and wisdom of having a career working with people at their most vulnerable to be able to discern what brings us as human beings to our best, and what brings us to our worst.
During her 13+ years of serving in the medical field, Erika founded her unique approach of Needs-Based Medicine, which sees through the perspective that the human body and psyche is out of balance, it is either not getting enough of what it needs, or too much of what it doesn’t need. This has helped thousands of people over the years come to a place of potential and vitality that they did not know possible… herself included. Erika is now bringing this expertise and wisdom into organizations and teams that are looking to go from surviving to thriving, all through capitalizing on the well-being potential of their leaders and people.
Erika is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of both Arizona State and Georgetown University, and in addition to being a medical provider she is an international speaker and storyteller who has spoken on stages like TEDx. She bridges the science of her medical training with the heart of her professional and personal experiences to help elevate leaders, organizations, and its people into their highest potential and vitality.
When you book Erika Shepard for your event, you’ll give your organization practical tools to boost engagement, reduce burnout, and achieve sustainable success. Erika’s insights resonate with audiences looking to transform their culture from surviving to thriving, making her the perfect choice for forward-thinking organizations.
