Less than 5% of all pilots in the United States are minorities (including race or gender).. Becoming the National Spokesman for the largest aviation youth program in the country before graduating high school adds a larger degree of complexity. Add the goal of becoming one of 300 pilots out of 600,000 certified pilots in the US that are legally capable of flying airshows in front of the audiences as large of 70,000 people, and you will inevitable encounter obstacles to reach your goals.
Many people, would stop there, but Jamail decided to become one of the most innovating entrepreneurs in the a predominately homogenous industry as well.
