Previously working packing bags at a grocery store, and waitressing at Denny's, Jamie Kern Lima comes from humble beginnings and has always hustled in order to pay her way through college. This allowed Jamie to graduate as Valedictorian from Washington State University before achieving her MBA from Columbia University. With a hard-working spirit instilled, and qualifications under her belt, Jamie went on to be an award-winning news anchor on television before she eventually founded IT Cosmetics from the comfort of her living room.
After successfully launching her business which was eventually acquired by L'Oréal in one of their largest acquisitions to date, Jamie is now the author of the book 'Believe IT: How to Go from Underestimated to Unstoppable' which instantly became a New York Times Bestseller.
With experience, education, and success under her belt, Jamie Kern Lima is now passionate about improving the lives of women and girls globally and is involved in a substantial amount of philanthropic work.
