Jolanta Burke is a chartered psychologist specialising in positive education and
educational leadership, acknowledged by the Irish Times as one of the 30 people
who
make life better. She is an academic, writer and researcher and during the
pandemic has
been commissioned to publish some of the main reports on how
school communities cope
with the pandemic.
Jolanta Burke lectures positive leadership and positive education at Maynooth University.
She has spoken at events across three continents and has published extensively in
academic journals, newspapers and a variety of psychological and popular magazines. She
has been a guest on various radio shows and hosted her own show about the psychology
of well-being.
Over the years, Jolanta has collaborated with businesses and organisations across various
sectors, from Pharma such as Pfizer and Novartis, to Tech Companies such as Google and
Storyful. In addition to this, Jolanta is the Author of three books ‘The ultimate Guide to
Implementing Wellbeing Programmes for School’, ‘Positive Psychology and School
Leadership: The New Science of Positive Educational Leadership’ and ‘Happiness after 30:
The Paradox of Aging’. Her next book ‘Positive Leadership: 2.0” will be published soon
with Routledge.
