It is always a little nerve wracking asking the SLT for funding to invite speakers into the school and keeping your fingers crossed that they will deliver a fun and engaging workshop. I needn't have worried! Kathryn brought the energy and enthusiasm that you might have seen on 'The Apprentice' straight into the classroom and kept our business and non- business students engaged throughout her time at the school. Many students commented afterwards how inspiring Kathryn's story was and challenged a fair few to consider whether a move into the business world might actually be a move in the not too distant future! The day was a lot of fun for everyone involved and I wouldn't hesitate to run the day all over again next year!

‘It was immediately apparent that Kathryn is very affable and has the ability to engage those around her in a natural, personable, manner. She confidently engaged pupils, with an hour- long talk which retained their attention at all times. The content of the talk included not only good business advice but also honest, personal, recollections that kept interest as well as making pupils think about the pros and cons of entrepreneurship. At all times the content felt heart-felt and genuine. She was adept at thinking quickly and responding at an appropriate level to her audience. At all times her diction, pace and delivery style were clear to all in the room.
