This serves to confirm that Mark Joseph has worked with us as a Mindfulness Teacher and Speaker since 2018 when we ran the first intake of RMB Mindfulness Training program. We have since run further programmes in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, extending the offering to the FirstRand Group, as well as “Grow your Practice” monthly masterclasses to build confidence in the team to run their own guided mindfulness sessions. Mark is a very approachable and patient teacher and speaker, setting his students at ease with his openness and deep knowledge and experience. He helped us take the offering online during Covid, and also ran a 21-day Lockdown Mindfulness Journey to help support FirstRand staff from a mindfulness and mental wellbeing perspective. I can highly recommend Mark for this work – it is his passion and he has the ability to build deep, meaningful relationships.

I suffered severe burnout in 2019, which affected my physiology, lived with chronic back pain and as a result my mental health. I was introduced to Mark Joseph in my business unit and his talks became my life-line. I was very excited when my organisation decided to invite keynote speaker Mark Joseph. At this time, I was an HR Business Partner at a Corporate Investment Bank, and I knew it was exactly what we needed considering all the buzz around the benefits of mindfulness in the media. Soon I was sharing practices in townhalls across my business areas, and it became a regular practice to start our meetings with a mindful practice. The content and delivery is fun, interactive, and relaxing with a science based and secular approach. The speaker, Mark Joseph is amazing, his authentic and talks about his personal experiences and challenges, his warm and approachable and allowed space to dig deep within myself and be vulnerable.
