Keynote speaker Mark Turner is a Silicon Valley native and former Apple technology evangelist. Growing up in Apple’s hometown, it was perhaps inevitable that he would eventually join the company that put Cupertino on the map. During his 16-year career with Apple, Mark was involved in projects ranging from the first PowerBook laptops and Power Mac computers, to the QuickTime multimedia software, to the development and marketing of Apple’s next-generation Mac OS X operating system.
Through his experience at Apple, Hewlett-Packard, and other Silicon Valley companies large and small, Mark Turner developed a deep understanding and appreciation of the essential qualities that drive innovation, including the human factors that are often overlooked by technology-focused development teams.

Since leaving Apple in 2008, Mark has founded two companies, and advises other technology startups in Denmark and Sweden.
The influential speaker Mark Turner holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, San Jose, and an Executive MBA from the Scandinavian International Management Institute, where he focused on the study of innovation and leadership.
