As a biodiversity expert, Michael Pawlyn designs sustainable properties and innovative solutions for green architecture. His company develops projects for public and private entities in an effort to address alarming climate issues. His regenerative designs inspire global builders to plan for waste reduction and sustainable designs in the building process.
Pawlyn is recognized globally for his work on numerous green projects, such as the Sahara Forest Project, which supplies food, energy, and water. The project opened in Jordan in 2017. By 2019, he’d co-founded Architects Declare, an international movement for addressing the climate crisis.
Advising multinational corporations and national governments throughout the world, he provides innovative solutions for building sustainably. In 2010, he became one of the few architects posted to TED. With 2 million views of his TED talk, Pawlyn’s innovation is impacting global architecture designs. Pawlyn joined a panel of professionals who advise Singapore on urban planning and design.
