Speaker Noëlla Coursaris Musunka was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and at five she was sent to live with relatives in Switzerland and Belgium because her mother lacked the resources to look after her. Noëlla returned years later to visit her hometown and mother and experienced first-hand the extreme poverty and the lives of young women in the DRC. Noëlla made it her mission to make a difference and help these girls and women.
Noëlla has a degree in business management but quickly started working as an international model for Agent Provocatuer, Vogue and Vanity Fair. This finally gave her an opportunity to use her voice to change the lives of young Congolese women and she founded her non-profit organization Malaika.
Today, speaker Noëlla Coursaris Musunkais not only known for her work in fashion but for her determination to make a difference and follow her true passion of providing education to girls and women in the DRC. Noëlla’s keynotes and presentations are inspiring and informative, and she wishes to help people find their passion and make their dreams come true.
