Olympia is a very good speaker for students. She is energetic and has an impressive professional career to share. The kids were huge fans and she was lovely enough to stay afterwards to take pictures and talk to the students. Very professional and a lovely, lovely person.

From poverty, a face stabbing, and #MeToo childhood sexual abuse in her youth, Olympia LePoint overcame failing math scores and graduated 1 of the Top 5 from her graduating class at California State University Northridge a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Later, LePoint helped launch 28 NASA Space Shuttle missions into Space. While earning her master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, LePoint won Engineer of the Year “Modern Day Technology Award.” From ages 21 to 30, LePoint was the youngest rocket scientist. Today, LePoint’s Mission Control Room desk is a science exhibit at the California Science Center.
As a math professor, Olympia LePoint’s highly popular TEDx talk, “Reprogramming Your Brain to Overcome Fear,” has garnered nearly 1M views worldwide.
