How do we encourage innovation and creativity within our organizations?
How do we engage in productive conflict?
How do we better manage ambiguity and make good decisions that lead to success?
How do we become better leaders?
The answer is CETI – Confidence, Emotional Intelligence, Trust and Interpersonal Skills.
Here is the problem: when we focus on developing people we tend to focus on the skills of Conflict Management, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Creativity and Innovation, etc. We are focusing on the wrong things. To be truly effective in this new world of work, and in all of the cognitive leadership skills we prize, we need to focus on higher order abilities. We need an affective shift.
This session will focus on the need, and the importance of developing CETI within our leaders and employees at every level – Confidence, Emotional Intelligence, Trust and Interpersonal Skills. These are the skills of a modern leader, an authentic leader, and what employees expect in their leaders.
These are also the skills that accelerate productive conflict management, allow people to confidently apply critical think skills, not be afraid to be innovative and creative and to be able to deal with the ambiguity that is so prevalent in today’s business environment.
