As an entrepreneur, professor at Stanford, and aerospace surgeon, Dr. Yvonne Darlene Cagle has reached the top of her field in cardiovascular medicine. She has worked as an aviation medical examiner for the FAA and taught cardiac life support. Her passion for education is evidenced by her medical degree from the University of Washington and the honorary Ph.D. she received while investigating countermeasures for mitigating challenges to space crew performance and behavioral health during missions.

Dr. Cagle is a retired US Air Force Colonel and a recipient of several Air Force recognitions, including an Achievement Medal, Commendation for Exceptional Physician, and the National Defense Service Medal. During her military career, she supported missions providing aeromedical rescue.
