As the world’s second largest and second-most-populous continent Africa is the home of many different cultures, languages and societies. With 54 countries, nine territories and two unrecognised states the continent provides diverse experiences in each state.

In recent years the African Union has become synonymous with the rapidly growing issue of poverty, but our keynote speakers try instead to focus on the potential and possibilities that lie within the great continent.
