About the topic: Space

The age of space is still a mystery, but it is believed to have originated approximately 13.7 billion years ago – at least according to the famous Big Bang theory. The universe where all of space is located is still expanding, and human kind is only aware of a tiny part of it.

Space contains a wide range of phenomena that we know more or less about. It may be distant solar systems, planets, stars and a host of related phenomena that we try to observe from Earth. In astronomy and cosmology, space is described as the vast 3-dimensional region that begins where the earth’s atmosphere ends.  Some scientists believe that space extends infinitely far in all directions, while others believe that space is finite but unbounded.

Keynotes on space and the universe provide insight into some of the possibilities that can be found in space, while the keynote may either focus on the basic ideas about the origin of the universe and the laws of nature, or it may more specifically be keynotes on space travel or other astronomical objects. It can also be talks on the future opportunities in space, with for example moon landings and the near space stations.

Keynote speakers will share their knowledge on space and the universe, and help audiences gain a greater understanding of the great force beyond our atmosphere.
